MOOC “Open the doors of the laboratory: cells and stem cells”

MOOC “Open the lab door: cells and stem cells” (only available in French)

Nantes University, INSERM (public research organization in France entirely dedicated to human health), Ouest-Media and Thinkovery joined forces to produce a new kind of MOOC. A true back-and-forth between theory and practice, “Open the doors of the laboratory: cells and stem cells” invites the general public to discover, through videos, the concrete work of researchers of Nantes University, INSERM and CNRS institutions in their laboratory. This initiative was carried out with the financial support of the European Regional Development Fund, the Pays de la Loire Region and L’Oréal Research and Innovation.

After the success of the first three sessions of this MOOC “Open the doors of the laboratory: cells and stem cells” (nearly 10,000 subscribers), users will be able to register for the fourth session of this course, with a dedicated course to scientific publication!

The online course runs during 7 weeks and includes 85 short videos. It starts on August 31, 2017.

Registration is open from Tuesday, June 6 until October 23, 2017 on the FUN platform (France Université Numérique).
